Last year, my colleague and I raised money for our local children’s ward, so they could have beautiful new books in time for Christmas. The children who were in hospital over the festive period were delighted with their new books, and the ward has told us that we have restocked their aging library.

This year I would love to raise £250 for books for our nearest children’s hospice, Brian House. They care for local children with very complex needs and life-limiting conditions. They face huge challenges, but the hospicesupport them and their families at every step of their difficult and often unpredictable journey…

If we can raise £250, I’ll be able to match the funding for these beautiful new books by 30%. If we can raise even more, we will be able to give even more beautiful books for all ages, jigsaws, games and all sorts.
