I am going to be volunteering in Kenya, and use my experience as a teacher to work in some rural village schools. For the past two summers myself and another colleague have dedicated our summer holidays to volunteering in rural villages in Kenya. One of the main focuses is education, I will be visiting lots of primary and secondary schools and offering my skills as a teacher. I would really appreciate your support in raising funds to purchase textbooks, stationery, exercise books and teaching resources to help give children the best start in life. Many children struggle to receive an education with little or no government support, and this is very apparent in rural areas.
