I have always been passionate abut helping others and volunteering has also inspired me. This internship will cost me approx £6000 pound and my aim is to save half and raise half. Please donate generously. Whether it is 10p or 10 pound every little helps.

In January 2019 I will be travelling to Costa Rica to complete an internship teaching English to less advantaged children. I am doing my volunteering with a company call GVI (Global Vision International). This is an amazing company to volunteer with and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to volunteer. This is the same company that i volunteered with in 2016 when i worked in an orphanage in Cape Town, South Africa for a month.

In partnership with the local community in Quepos, Costa Rica, GVI created this internship to help reduce teacher to student ratios and help provide additional support to keep students engaged. The long term goals that GVI hopes to establish in Quepos are,

1. Improve access to education and wellness to El Cocal community

2, Increase environmental awareness in the local community

3. Improve English literacy levels in Quepos community and surrounded areas

4. Ensure that GVI Quepos base provides volunteers and interns unique, safe, responsible travel experiences, exceptional training and career development opportunities, and facilitate the ability to make a real difference
