    Story

My wife is terminally ill with a brain tumour grade 4 glioblastoma which comes with a average life expectancy of 12 to 18 months.
So far she has had 2 operations to remove the tumour from her brain, the first was April 17 and more recently in January 18, and in February she got admitted to hospital with a infection, for which she has spent 8 weeks in Derriford hospital.
She has recently returned from hospital and now has mobility aids to help her cope with everyday issues.
Kaana has a son who is nearly 17 and she would like to spend more time with.
She also has some dreams that she would like to achieve before time runs out like a holiday for her family, days out with her family etc.
Kaana is a caring and generous person always putting others first and I think that at this point in her life she deserves to be put first and for me to try and achieve her dreams I have had to set this up.
It means everything to me to achieve everything I can for her. I have also recently had to give up work to care for her full time, which we are now struggling a bit.
So I am hoping that the public can really help me to achieve this goal.

Kaana is having surgery on Thursday 19th April to have a shunt put in to drain the excess fluid, hopefully this will help her come home again. After 8 weeks then a week at home then back to the hospital again hopefully we can spend some time together after this.

I am Chris Calfe and I am trying to raise money for my wife Kaana Calfe who is terminally ill. I have recently given up work to care for her full time as Kaana's mobility has deteriorated after coming out of hospital recently.
