I will be taking part in a 7km obstacle course race on 15th December. It will doubtlessly be very cold, very wet, and very muddy. The organisers are putting the race on free of charge, with all of the runners making a donation on the day. All money raised will go to The Michael Smith Trust, who fundraise to support research into Motor Neurone Disease and similar terminal illnesses. All of the event staff are volunteering their time, and the race venue doesn't take a penny of the donations. If all of my Facebook friends give just £1, I'll easily reach my target. So please make my impending hypothermia worth it!
