A family of 11 escaped Chernihiv which was levelled to the ground by instense shelling. They made their escape right through a gun battle, their vehicles were hit and the grandmother was wounded. She had to stay behind in ukraine. With nothing to go back to this family is now on their way to Dublin to start over. Thanks to your donations we were able to organise and fund their travel. This was our last day but not the end of our mission. We will continue to raise funds to help re-start the lives of individuals we have manage to help.

Yesterday we drove Zhenya (L), Vasily (R), Galyna and Hazem from the P/U border at Korczowa to Warsaw. We used some money raised to book Vasily and Zhenya flights to Dublin where the will be setting up a new life, for now. We managed to book flights to Egypt for Galyna and Hazem, where they will be living with Hazem’s family until things are safe to return to Chernihiv. We are in the process of helping Zhenya’s daughter join her in Dublin. The need for help is everywhere and we will continue to raise as much as we can. Thank you DEEET
