As many of you know Ady and myself are Running in the Robin hood half marathon on 24th September to help raise money for a specialist unit which is currently based at the Queens medical centre Nottingham,there are only 12 units around the UK that provide the help,specialist care and support that these units offer mothers,young adults and their families in their time of need.

The unit is having a specialist purpose built unit constructed in Nottingham away from the QMC hospital so that they have their own building enabling them to provide specialist care in a more comfortable environment.The staff from the ward along with ourselves are running to help them raise funds to go towards equipment for the unit with such things as sensory rooms,garden toys and furniture as the unit is for mothers,babies,young adults and children of all ages.
