Hi on the 30th Septembe 2017 I am taking part in a sponcered walk to help raise funds for the Prestonfield Neighbourhood Project (scottish registered charity number SC007869) This is a project close to my heart, as most of you will know i have cared for my wee Mum for many years, she had M.S and is practically housebond. The Prestonfield project supports my Mum to go to day care a couple of days a week, which means they collect her in specially adapted transport bringing her to meet with friends and socialize with ladies of her own age. This has been a fantastic experience for both my Mum and myself. It brightens my Mums week giving her different conversation and a story or two to tell me at night. This project is not just benefical to my Mum but many elderly residents in this community. They desperately need to boost there funds to keep this valuable project going, any little donation/sponcer from my lovely friends would be greatly appreciated 😊
