forchildrenOn Monday evening vandals broke into the Early Years outdoor classroom at our school and destroyed everything. They smashed potted plants, empitied the sandpit, kicked holes in sheds, ripped down ornaments, tipped the nursery children’s easter seedlings, broke every toy they found and stole waterproof clothing and wellies that the children wear whilst playing there. It has left the children, staff and parents devasted.

Although a massive effort was made by staff to clear up before the children arrived, the area is now a shadow of its former glory. Donations have flooded in to help restart and make it even better than it was but the cost to replace the equipment needed is very expensive. The PTA and all members of the SJL community want to raise as much as we can to make the area wonderful again fir the chikdren and to help make it more secure.
