I am going to work in Jubilee Academy in Nakuru, Kenya in October 2017 with students and staff from Ely College. When I last visited the school in February of this year, the students there had classrooms but they were really lacking in classroom furniture. The tables and chairs they did have would fall apart during the lesson, often collapsing on children and injuring them. The Kenyan children are used to dragging their tables out and fixing them with old bits of wood and rusty nails but unfortunately they break again soon afterwards.

I would like to buy chairs and tables for the school so the children can have a safe working environment and enjoy their lessons. I am aiming to buy the chairs and tables in-country so the money stays in Kenya where it is needed.
