Every year the student body is encouraged to raise money for charity. Nominations are made by students, staff and parents on behalf of charities they support or are involved with and the students select which ones to support and how much each will be given.

So far the school has held two fundraising events this school year, a Christmas Jumper Day in December that raised £449 and a cake sale just before half term in February which has raised £395.

As part of our academy group TKAT (The Kemnal Academies Trust), Cleeve Park School and KTC Executive Head Teacher, Jenni Tyler Maher and Cleeve Park Schools Assistant Head, Sarah Donnelly have been given the opportunity to run in the 2017 Virgin London Marathon on 23rd April to raise funds for the schools chosen charities. They will be running alongside TKAT CEO Karen Roberts and representatives from other TKAT schools to raise funds for the Trusts chosen charities for 2016/17

Neither Jenni or Sarah have ever competed in a marathon before and would not describe themselves as ‘runners’ – preferring the description of ‘jogging’ to describe their technique. Both recently 'jogged' the Brighton Half Marathon as part of their training for this event.

We are asking parents, staff, friends, colleagues and relatives to support Jenni and Sarah in their attempt to raise money for the schools chosen charities by donating via this Just Giving page.
