Weʼve raised £975 to Raise funds for Sarah and her family whose cat, Cleo,was shot at close range by an air rifle.

Story
On the evening of Saturday 2nd May, our friends cat, Cleo, was shot at close range by someone with an air rifle.
As we all would in this situation, they took Cleo to the vets which resulted in Cleo having to have major surgery overnight. The pellet from the air rifle missed all of Cleo's vital organs but it did however pierce Cleo's bowel in 3 places, with the pellet being found in her hip.
As we all know, vets bills can be expensive and this was no different for Cleo. The surgery ended up costing the family thousands of pounds. We'd like to help Sarah and her family out by raising any funds we can to make things a bit easier during this tough time.. If you can donate anything at all then it would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, Cleo passed away from her injuries on Sunday evening.

4 years agoA huge thank you to everyone that has donated! We know Sarah and her family are blown away by your support. Unfortunately, we have been told that Cleo passed away overnight. We still want to keep raising as much money for the family as we can to help them out with the vet bills during this tough time!

So sorry to hear about Cleo. We live in the village and are quite anxious as we have a cat that often wanders away. Waiting for him to return, hopefully ok.
