Recover, Adapt & Overcome

I am raising money for the Purple Wings charity. A charity who’s vision is to help sufferers of IBD with ostomies regain confidence through ‘Time for Me Grants’. This is a tailor made service and is very much based on a relationship built between the person and the Charity. They have Stoma nurses at hand always ready to help and offer advise providing support for struggling Ostomates.

Its about proving that you really can ‘live’ with a Stoma and not just ‘exist’.

I am lucky enough not to have needed the services of the charity, but I see how some may struggle. This charity is about supporting those that are just ‘existing’ and giving them something positive to focus on.

Although I’m aware most will offer me more money to keep my clothes on, I will be getting my kit off for the charities calendar. So dig deep, and have a giggle at my expense!!
