Story
My cousin Shane was involved in a road traffic incident on the 14th February 2003 whilst driving home from work. Shane suffered severe damage to the brain leaving him in a coma. Shane spent 2 years in hospital and rehab until he went home to his wife and son, where he still needs constant care. The ‘Shane Hughes Trust Fund’ was founded by his brother Dean, to raise funds to help Shane.
Myself and my girlfriend Alice will be running the Rutland Half Marathon to raise funds to help with Shane’s care and needs. Our target figure is £1000 which will be a fantastic achievement if we can achieve it.
