    Story

    Good morning Brighton,

So yes, this is the GoFundMe page we decided to start to go out and buy some bits and bobs for the homeless guys and girls down on the green by St Peters Church. The weather looks like it's only gonna get worse for them this week. I think £150 is a modest but effective enough target to go for just to get things like:

    Washing powder
    Towels
Bit of cash for the laundrette
Tents (if people can't donate tents themselves)
    Wet wipes
    Sleeping bags
    Non-perishable grub
Any other things people can think of? Suggestions welcome.

The BLUE MAN on Queens Road has kindly said they will be a drop-off point for anyone willing to donate their own equipment. If and when we raise the money, any volunteers to help me buy the stuff would be great. Thanks all!

As a brightonian it's important for me that our little town can try and remain positive in the face of austerity. Keep on doing what you are doing, I promise, it's making a difference to us.
