Type 1 diabetes is a condition that affects thousands of people around the U.K., and unfortunately I am one of those people. However, Football Aid are a charitable organization who raise money to fund research into diabetes amongst young people, as well as other charities.
I have managed to secure a place playing in a charity football match at the Ipro Stadium, the home of Derby County football club. This means I have the fantastic opportunity of fulfilling a life long dream of playing at the ground of my boyhood team whilst raising money for a charity extremely close to my heart!
