Story
On Wednesday 6th November 2019, at 2:17am, my beautiful daughter Ailish Louise Rintoul was born 15 weeks early weighing a fragile 1lb.
Thanks to the incredible staff at this facility, Ailish is still with us, and continues her fight towards good health - hopefully returning home with her mother and I in the future.
So in the lead up to my 40th birthday this year, Ailish, Louise and I would like to raise money in acknowledgement of the often unheard, and unnoticed, work of the inimitable staff in Wishaw NICU. Their professionalism, care, compassion, love and understanding are a credit to themselves and the wonderful institution that is our NHS.
