Story
In 2009 a local man suffered a break in to his van & had over £4500 worth of power tools stolen, it was his birthday on the morning he went to his van outside his front door. The van had no business sign nor could you look into the back due to metal panels plus closed up behind front seats. It was supposed to have an alarm but found out the van salesman had lied.
After the theft the local man was faced with no tools no help from DWP & his savings soon ran out & he became depressed & suicidal as he faced losing his home. He is a genuine decent hard working guy & his job, tools & home are his pride as he's earned it through hard work & his skills. He did get back to work 14 months later & has always been catching up with his bills, loan & mortgage, he has suffered depression at times & he loves to work but unfortunately he has had some customers not pay him for no reason other than they were never going to. He's currently waiting for a court hearing about repossession on his home next month & if he loses his home we fear the worst for him as he wanted to end his life after he almost lost his home after the theft. We know many struggle to keep what they own & we understand help is needed by many, hence our only chance of saving this lovely man. He loves his job & up until the theft he had plenty of work in Exmouth, he needs a bit of luck like we all do & help from generous people in the UK.
There are police records to prove his theft & may we add his van was broken into 7 months later, they expected new tools to be in there but he hadn't the money yet to buy them. He has court date for repossession next month.
Thank you if you've donated & we'll help others to in desperate need.

It may seem a minor crime but its effects are great. I hope justice is done.
