I'll be running the Causeway Coast Marathon on 23rd September to help raise money for my friend's son Liam McCallum. Liam was hit by a car in January when playing football outside his home in Liscolman, Co. Antrim.
The accident happened just a week before Liam's 10th birthday and he has been receiving treatment ever since at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. The devastating accident has left Liam facing a long and difficult recovery & his family are trying to cope with this as well as the 120 mile round trip to the hospital.
The money I raise will go towards the cost of a hydro pool so some of Liam's treatment can be done at home.
