I have recently retired from Wheelchair Tennis, having travelled the world playing in competitions and representing GB in 3 Paralympics. I have moved sports to canoeing where i feel i can reach my full potential, and achieve a gold medal at the next Paralympics in Tokyo 2020. During my Tennis Career I was funded to compete around the world by The Tennis Foundation and was also rewarded with prize money. Now I have moved to Canoeing and being new to the sport my funding has taken a significant drop and there is no such thing as prize money. Therefore to enable me to acheive my goal I am activily looking for financial assistance to help get me to training to buy the necessary kit and hopefully buy my own boat.

With training 6 days a week it’s not possible to get a job so this funding will help me get the right nutritional foods that i need also will help with fuel to get me to training and good clothing for the winter months to come, all of this is vital for me to keep training hard.
