Story
Most of the people this goes to will know Mo personally. A cadet from the Gambian Army, Mo completed the commissioning course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as part of 22 Platoon in 2007/08, before returning to the Gambia. 2016 has not been kind to Mo & his family. Earlier this year, Mo lost one of his young sons to a stomach illness. Now, Mo's seconds son Ousman is suffering with an eye condition that is threatening to blind him. The medicine to treat the ailment is available, but comparatively expensive in the Gambia (c.£15/day, for a 2-3wk course). The aim is to help a fellow soldier in hard times, and to prevent a young boy from losing his sight. Any help will be gratefully received.
