Davy & Spud are doing a 43 mile walk from Lurgan to Bangor on Wednesday 4th April, to raise money for Kids 4 School. They are trying to raise £2,400!!

The project is to build a water tank which will provide clean water for children attending school. The charity sponsors 1600 children to go to school or vocational training. In the 10 villages in which the charity works (about 5 hours drive north of Dodoma, Tanzania) there are no water taps. The women and girls spend hours each day collecting water. Sadly it is dirty and the biggest killer of young children in the area. Providing clean water improves health, helps concentration in school and gives women and girls a better life.

Each cement water tank is connected to special gutters which collect rain water from the roofs of buildings. They cost £2400 to construct.
