We have been setup as part of the NCS program. As part of our social action we have decided to raise money for the Day-beds ward at the Bristol Royal Hospital for children in order for them to have a more enjoyable stay at hospital. We have chosen this ward in particular due to Dan's (part of our NCS team) personal experiences with the ward. Dan has visited the ward regularly throughout his whole life for various treatments/health checkups due to his rare genetic health condition Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome. The ward caters to the needs of small children with various health conditions daily so often need updating with various activities to keep young children occupied whilst having their treatment. I.E, DVD's, books, board games, games consoles, toy boxes etc. The money raised from this page and other events that we are taking part in will go towards purchasing these necessities for the ward.
