Dean is a 17 year old young man with who lives in Wiltshire. Sadly, Dean suffered a serious brain injury after being involved in a road accident in 2008. Dean had some learning difficulties prior to this.

Dean currently attends the Sixth Form at Crowdys Hill School, Swindon where he is studying Hospitality, Employability, Independent Living Skills and Sports.

Dean has been selected as 1 of 18 students to join JoLt (Journey of a Lifetime) on an expedition across Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos. JoLt has been organising confidence-building, challenging expeditions for young people (14-21 years old) who are physically, medically, socially or emotionally disadvantaged. It is a small, voluntary organisation, who are dedicated to making a positive, lasting difference to those most in need.

For many the journey is a life-transforming event, “jolting” them out of their old lives, helping them to grow in confidence and self-esteem and giving them the ability to take control of their future.

Dean needs to raise £750 towards this amazing expedition. We would welcome any donation towards this worthy cause.
