I have a friend who was looked after by this team and know they do a great job for her and for others with metabolic acidosis.

I am doing my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award in the new school year. As part of it I needed to fundraise and volunteer.

while volunteering for an event, i began to make friends with Kirsten. She’s really nice and we get along well.

even though my DofE award is for 6 months, I asked if I could carry on helping her raise money.

The hospital saved her so I want to help.
