My darling husband and soul mate was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer 3 years ago, after a 7 hour operation to remove the tumour that had obstructed his bowel, he had to have chemotherapy which was devastating to see what it did to his body. He was such a fighter and stayed positive, was in remission for 2.5 years, at his last check up which we were so positive about, they found that the cancer had come back.

It had moved to his lung, seriously... what else does this poor man have to go through, we saw a surgeon and the date was set for him to have lung surgery. The day before the surgery we received a call to say they couldn't operate as they found it is back in the bowel and can't operate until the tumour in the bowel is removed.

More appointments with different surgeons on the "plan" to remove the tumour in the bowel, he was so positive that he had this, he beat it once he will do it again.

We weren't ready to receive the news that the tumour is growing on the outside of the bowel towards his spine and they are not able to remove it.

More chemotherapy and radiation and he was ready to kick some cancers butt.

A few months later I had to rush him to A&E because of another blockage that resulted in him having major surgery which now means he has a stoma, anything to help him be able to have more time.

Then the life changing news that he is terminal and there is nothing more they can do for him.

As a wife you say "I Do" in sickness and health and never expect the sickness to be as devastating as Cancer that will rob you of all the dreams you have planned with your soulmate.

What is heart wrenching for me is that I so wish I could grant all his wishes personally, playing golf at St Andrew Linx courses and many other goals, this is my plea to anyone to please help me grant my darling husband these wishes so that he can experience as many of his dreams off his bucket list as possible.
