I have made this event to help my neice demi-louise to raise funds to help her and her family. I wanted to help raise money towards travel expensive as we have to travel to different hospitals each day. Things demi will need to help her be comfortable with while in hospital, and most of all to try let her enjoy Christmas with that little bit extra.

Demi Louise has had a heart valve problem since she was born and had a major operation straight away. Now at 12yrs old she has to under go another operation as her heart is failing again. So at the moment she is struggling with breath and can't do what a normal child at her age can.
She has also been diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis last month. This means that she is in extreme pain and already struggling to walk which she is needing a wheelchair. This is long term and her life will be affected by this every day resulting on a wheel chair full-time .
She was already taking a lot of medication with all this, but now this only means even more after operation and to help slow the arthritis down.

She's been really upset with all this going on and this has brang her to tears on some nights. It's been hard for her as she has to miss out on a lot of things we take for granted every day. It's also a lot on the family as there's a lot of hospital appoinmnts and after operation there is a 3 month recovery if everything runs smoothly.
