I have done fundraised in many ways for many charities. Raised over £1000’s through cake sales, charity raffles, social non-uniform days, challenges, car boot sale and on social media. This year I would like to do something more extreme and challenge myself to overcome one of my greatest fears - heights. I am hoping to fundraise for two charities: BulliesOut and Beauty with a Purpose.

I have been a BulliesOut Ambassador since the age of 13. They have helped many people who have been bullied, impacted lives, providing workshops/presentations and helping people during this difficult time. They put others before themselves and ask for nothing in return. This charity deserves to be known and appreciated for helping those in need.

Beauty with a Purpose is the official Miss England & Miss World charity. To me, beauty with a purpose means more. The phrase beauty in this context doesn't mean your appearance or physical attributes. To me it means the person's personality, and what’s on the inside. Purpose means, what drives you, what are you passionate about? To summarise, it means someone who is truly passionate about their cause. And I am passionate about making a difference and getting my voice heard. As a STEM Ambassador, I have won many awards for my dedication to STEM. For everything else I do, I am going to push myself to the limits and go far to get my voice heard. Jump over those hurdles and overcome my fears.

I am also a Miss England Contestant taking part in the Miss Popularity Heat. The competition is not just about beauty and I will be willing to share more if you give me the chance to share my story. To be worthy of the title, I will have to fundraise, get my story shared and as much publicity as possible. These charities are close to my heart and I am pushing myself to go out there to get people's attention, hear what I have to say. As one person I can't change anything but together we can make a difference.

My close friends and family know how afraid I am of heights and I was having 2nd thoughts about doing this. Then I thought, “You only have one life. If I want to make a real difference. I have to go out there, even if it means pushing myself to the limits”. So here I am, asking for your support to publish an article that will help get me into the finals.
