    Story

    Story

The destruction brought to Dominica on 19 September 2017 by Hurricane Maria was unprecedented – devastating homes and infrastructure, and tragically ending the lives of those most vulnerable to its winds and storm.

Dominicans are desperate for immediate help: they have no shelter, no food, and no medicine. Their belongings, and everything they built over a lifetime of hard work, have been washed away. Aid is crucial, and it is vital that it reaches Dominica right now, when they most need it.

At present, we are raising moneys for the first stage of a long-term effort to bring relief to Dominica. This will entail sending basic materials such as temporary roofing, blankets, and non-perishable food. The idea is to bring fast assistance, with the goal of alleviating the plight Dominicans who have been left with nothing.

We urge you to join our cause. Please donate now to help us return some hope to Dominica and its citizens.
