My name is Yasmin and I have set up this page to raise money for my aunty who is in need of a kidney transplant.

A little background:
Back in September 2016, my aunt (who lives in Bangladesh) gave birth via a caesarian section, and although the baby girl born was thankfully healthy, complications soon arose for my aunt after a really bad stitching and generally a substandard healthcare service from the hospital.

Soon after, she fell into a coma, along with other medical complications both her kidneys started failing too, requiring her to get a lot of blood transfusions, be put on a life support machine and get dialysis for her failing kidneys. She went from one hospital to another in Bangladesh to sort out some of the medical problems for a few months, until she was well enough to come home for a few weeks to arrange a kidney transplant in India. However, things got worse again and she started experiencing symptoms of intense back pain while in India, which now requires a separate emergency operation as soon as possible. On top of this, my aunt has been living away from her child for months now, and this separation is breaking her heart as a mother. She is stressing so much for her health and wishes to make a quick recovery for the sake of her baby daughter. She experienced an unfortunate miscarriage while on her journey trying for a child in the past few years, so she was over the moon when they were finally blessed with a beautiful baby daughter.

Both my family and my extended family have been supporting her and paying for as much of the expenses as we can up to this point, but we now need your help to pay for the kidney transplant and the additional medical bills.

Please donate as much as you can, even if it is a small amount, it will give my aunt and our whole family a stronger hope for a successful kidney transplant and a better recovery.
