    Story

In June 2016, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, age 36 while I was still breastfeeding my little boy, Leo.

This is me last June then a couple of months into treatment. After 12mths of chemo, radiotherapy and various surgeries I was told in June 2017 that it had now progressed to stage IV incurable cancer with multiple lumps in my neck area (scans showed the largest Tumor measured 6cm) and they could only offer palliative chemo, which 'would not cure it, and may not even work at all; but could extend life for a further 12 months'... With the average triple negative survival rate being just 9 months from diagnosis this just didn't seem feasible? Leo and his 4 year old sister Ruby need their mommy, surely this wasn't right?

Their plan was to try various palliative chemos (not even knowing if they'd work in the first place), then switch to another one when it stops working.

I asked the oncologist for some time to consider my options and following extensive research, along with my amazingly supportive hubby Ste, we decided to try an alternative route first. Mainly because we believe the previous treatments may have made the cancer even more aggressive causing it to spread. So we started using a natural protocol involving lots of different therapies and a complete overhaul of my entire life, diet and environment. This involves working with a fab naturopathic doctor, a herbalist and nutritionist, regular introvenous high-dose vitamin c infusions, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) frequency therapy and ozone therapies etc. Amazingly we have achieved unbelievable results with the main tumour shrinking by 50% in the first month.

My oncologist was utterly shocked with these results as he expected it to have spread everywhere without chemo due to the aggressive nature of TNBC and he has continued monitoring, somewhat bemused that we are keeping it at bay.

However the lumps are now showing signs of slight growth and circulating tumour cells in the blood are creeping up, so the protocol is being tweaked to be more effective. We are even looking at clinics overseas. I've not ruled out chemo entirely as I will do absolutely anything to be here for my precious children as long as possible; but in the right capacity, which is important. Plus the incredible results we achieved initially have given us so much hope this can be healed naturally (as we have been told that it is uncurable using conventional treatment).

Some of the treatments are expensive, such as the IV vit C, costing £90 a session, which is just too expensive to have every week as advised. In addition, we have the huge expense of all the organic juicing and fruit/veg, plus medications, herbs and supplements . Every single penny raised will go directly towards treatment, in order to keep the cancer at bay, ultimately to heal and prolong life. We are looking into overseas clinics that can offer higher success rates using therapies not available in the UK.

We've had help from some incredible people along the way (you know who you are!) and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all of the support, we are all so unbelievably grateful. Big love x

Ok a ct scan recently showed progression to liver and lungs so we decided to amend our protocol, thankfully our oncologist is willing to work integratively so can combine the therapies we are working on with the chemo to give it our best shot initially, a similar protocol to the overseas clinics we've researched. As an incurable illness we need to explore every avenue and hopefully with everyone working together we can x
