This is Mia she is 14 years old and lives with chronic pain and hypermobility, she lives with her Mum and 11 & 4 year old brothers. She has suffered with this since the age of just 10 years old ! Last year she lost her nanny and the stress and upset contributed to past issues and was the onset of ME. Hydrotherapy is a very expensive thing to set up, her Mum has been advised that a hot tub would be great therapy for both her pain and hypermobility. She is a very determined and academic young lady, who fights with her illness and astonishingly has a school attendance of 70%. To me this shows that this girl doesnt want to be beaten down ! She has a lovely circle of friends, which is great for support, I just think it would be lovely to be able to help bring less pain and more comfort to Mia. We would be so grateful for your support and hopefully be able to get her some comfort as soon as possible.

She has ME triggered by death of her beloved nanny last year. She also has hypermobility which she's suffered from since she was 10. She's always tired. Every muscle and joint aches every day. She is cold a the time sleeps in her dressing gown pj's and double duvet. Her glands are permanently up but the ones under her armpits are so sore that sometimes she can't even put her shirt on for school. She cries often. Breaks my heart xxx
