Story
PTSD Dogs is hoping to create customised training programs for PTSD Service Dogs dedicated to help those who are suffering and living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In achieving this we will also provide a full-service animal care facility by providing excellent quality pet care in a relaxed and calming atmosphere. We will maintain a friendly creative work environment which respects diversity, ideas, and hard work.
The timing is right for starting this new venture. Unfortunately, at present, there are a number of organisations in the mainland UK which offer support but do not stretch to Northern Ireland. One of our aims and objectives is to reach out to these individuals, who suffer from PTSD, through organisations like Combat stress and other Veteran Support organisations. In general, to provide canine support to men and women that are from the ex-forces and Police who suffer with PTSD.
