Weʼve raised £10 to buy and kit out a canal boat to support homeless people. It will have berths for people to sleep in,a galley to cook & an advice desk.

Story
We are raising funds to buy & kit out a house boat to support homeless people. We will have as many berths as we can fit for people to sleep in so they can be warm & safe.The galley will be used to cook food & hot drinks.In the day we will have a qualified advice worker giving advice on housing,benefits & sign posting.It will be moored in Birmingham originally but will be able to travel to any city to offer support.When we travel we will also be inviting homeless people to join us to learn cooking & budgeting & at the same time will be a break for them.We will be offering homeless people the chance to volunteer & support other homeless people.
