Hello…

My name is Kinga and thank you very much for supporting my Elephant Rescue Project .

I am here because I watched a video about elephants from sanctuary in Chiang Mai and a lady who is in charge of the sanctuary said she has enough money to feed the elephants but she doesn’t have enough money for land, so I decided to raise money to buy land for those lovely creatures.

I had also heard that the planet really changes over the past few years.

I spent this summer holidays at my grandma’s in Poland and I watched my favourite channel - Discovery Channel. Those documentaries I watched made me very sad and worried.The climate is changing so for example seals,polar bears,walrus and many more animals are dying on the rocky mountains, because the snow is melting, which is caused by a climate change.

The animals that aren’t suppose to be on rocks are dying.

The elephant project is my first rescue project, because elephants are so fascinating and they are my favourites. They are so similar to us humans.Unfortunately there are in a big danger now.

There is not enough land for them now on Earth because people are building too many cities and roads around their homes. There is only around 3,500 of them left in Thailand at the moment. 100 years ago( I’ve read an article about it) there were 100 000 . This is horrible.

I am so worried that in 20 years time, there won’t be that many spices of animals left on our planet. What we are going to do then?

Please help me by supporting my project.Even smallest donations will help. I am in touch together with my parents with a lady, her name is Sangdeaun Lek Chailert and she helps sick and hurt elephants in Thailand. I asked her how much money does she need to be able to help more elephants and she said that they need £600000 to buy a new land for them to live on. I have a dream to raise £1250 by Christmas. 80% will go towards the land, 20% will help to cover my visit in the Elephant Heven sanctuary in Sai Yok Kanchanaburi.

This is my big dream. If you cannot support me and elephants with money that’s fine but please help me at least by looking after our planet better by using less plastic because plastic is the worst for the planet.
