Story
Last night over 100 hundred families have lost their possessions and homes destroyed by flash flooding. While there are government bodies in place to help with funds this will never be enough to get their homes back to normal. Some of the people in bungalows have lost everything they own. While others in two storey house have had all of their possessions downstairs destroyed. This page is to provide financial support to those most affected who were unable to obtain home insurance due to the location of their homes. These people tried to get insurance cover but due to the proximity to the river and likelihood of flooding were unable to do this. They have to re
build on their own as there will be no big insurance pay out for them.

I live in St Canices Park and was one of the lucky families not to be affected by the flooding. I am raising funds for all homes that could not obtain full contents cover due to the proximity to the river. Some families have lost everything as they live in bungalows.
