Namabaale is located in Mubende disctrict in central rural Uganda. The people in this region are extremely poor and most if not all the community are refugees from Bunyolo, Kabale, Rwanda and Congo and never had a chance to go to School.

We started as a Community Based Organisation for Women and young people doing different activities, ranging from farming to health talks, to different awareness Seminars.

But because of the number of children in the community that were just hanging around in the community without any education or purpose in life, we had no option but to change our vision and start a nursery school, as we believed that to build this community we had to start with the little children, and later on work our way up to different ages.

Since we started the nursery school this year, we have been overwhelmed by the number of the children brought to us. But we do not have classrooms to accommodate them. We anticipate these numbers to grow even further and that's why we desperately need your help.
