Sponsored walk!

The two ladies in the photo are my Mum and Mum-in-law, enjoying their  weekly visit to my Salon a few years ago, being 'coiffured' and pampered. My mum is the one reading, and luckily she still loves a magazine, so I buy  her  one  every  week. They loved their weekly catch up, relaxing, chatting, enjoying a laugh and  of course, a cuppa. Mum used to drive herself here, while Mum-in-law caught a bus.

My mum-in-law is no longer with us as she suffered with Dementia for approximately 2yrs. My Mum was diagnosed in April of this year, and this cruel disease has progressed rapidly, she is now at Carolyne House residential home, in Chadwell St. Mary, Essex.

I'am helping to raise funds, to enable all residents to enjoy a Christmas party and all other social events that they can attend.

Mum  will  also  be  participating, as I'll be pushing her around in her wheelchair, while she's wrapped in a blanket and wearing her favourite red coat, telling me  to "mind the kerb'" and "look where you're going". Lol.

So,  "Lets  get  the  party  started"!!!
