Hi, my name is Elen and I am going on an expedition with a group of other students from my School to Tanzania for 2 weeks. We have to raise over £3,750 to be able to participate in the expedition. On the expedition we will be doing an intensive 4-5 day walk which will help us work as team, encourage one another to do our best and help our resilience which will all be helpful for the next part of the expedition.

The rest of the expedition we will be helping the local village by teaching Primary aged children and building foundations for a new school. I would appreciate any donations towards this expedition. I have wanted to go on an expedition like this ever since my brother was given the same opportunity. He shared the fact that the experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The stories and experiences that he shared made me decide to do an expedition like it myself one day. The opportunity has now arisen for me.

I feel passionate about this expedition and believe it will change my outlook on life for the better. It will give me the opportunity to help those less privileged than myself. I look forward to teaching the young children and helping them with their education and making new relationships which I will cherish forever.
