I am a passionate long distance and trail runner. My aim is to undertake an emotionally and physically ambitious and difficult challenge with the hope of raising money and awareness for Mind: the mental health charity. Mental health remains a stigmatised subject which means many people, particularly young men, find it difficult to address. I hope that I can be part of changing that. This will be by completing the arduos 250km self - supported trail ultramarathon across the Namib Desert in November 2019. This includes carrying all my own kit, sleeping system, food and water througout the entire race.
