When shopping in Cardiff a few weeks back my little girl Elizabeth saw a homeless lady. She asked me why the lady was sat on the floor and why she looked so sad. I explained that sometimes things happen in people's lives and that they can end up being homeless. The thought of this lady not having a home to go to has bothered her ever since. How will she keep warm she asked me.
So a friend of mine runs a homeless charity called Cornerstones and via Facebook he asked for donations of rucksacks with toothpaste, sweets, water, hats etc in them and mentioned that £350 could pay for a bond.
Elizabeth wanted to donate a bag but also wanted to donate £350. This is where she decided to do a sponsored Conga to raise money.
£350 will go towards a bond and any extra myself and Elizabeth will buy rucksacks and supplies for those not able to have a home this winter.
