Story
At the age of 20, Elizabeth (Lily McKeon) began a new life as a deafened person, after recovering from Meningitis. Despite the difficulties this entailed she went on to live a remarkable life, marrying a deafened person and having two hearing children.
Elizabeth died at the age of 92. As a family, we would like you to consider making a small donation to the National Association of Deafened People instead of funeral flowers. The National Association of Deafened People is a charity that supported Elizabeth throughout her new life as a Deafened person, and she was a member until her recent passing.
