I am doing an abseil in Middlesbrough to help raise funds for an expedition to Southern India. I am going with my school and we will help the local community by doing a project to benefit them. Previous explorers have helped to extend the school's dining hall, which sat 6 pupils even though the school has 170 pupils. I think the challenge will be an enormous benefit to me, as I will gain leadership skills, whilst doing something positive to help children not as fortunate as me.
