Hi! I'm fundraising for an expedition run by a charitable organisation called World Challenge which sets up intrepid trips and lets the kids take charge. This year, the destination is Uganda and my group will be involved in construction and conservation tasks as well as experiencing village communities and really trying to understand what it's like to live in Uganda. The trip starts on the 21st July 2017 and is 14 days long- there is a group of us from Cherwell and Gosford schools between 15 and 16 and we will all be camping and cooking our own food! £3000 is a lot of money, I know, but apart from the cost of our flights and basic travel expenses, the rest is being directly invested into this project and other projects like this run by World Challenge. The expedition will be a great chance for me to be worked hard and hopefully gain some independence..! So please donate any money/spare change that you can- every little helps!
