Elsie is a wonderful, funny, determined, kind, brave 5 year old girl, she is just fantastic! Elsie has a type of Cerebral Palsy called Spastic Diplegia, the main effect of this for Elsie is that she cannot walk independently. Last year Elsie had major hip surgery which has had a big impact on her muscle strength. Elsie swims and horse rides which are fun activities to build up her core strength and she is working really hard. Cycling is another activity which will help her gain muscle strength and make her stronger, maximising her potential for more independent mobility. The trike will provide her with fun and she can ride with her pals and big brother.

Elsie and her pals are raising money towards a specialist trike. The trike is a Quest 88 Colt and costs approximately £1800. Here is Elsie testing out the trike with her big brother, Arthur!
