Story
Every year, Calder VI travel to a developing country to volunteer for two weeks in a local community. In order to get there, all the costs are fundraised - the 2018 project will cost each volunteer a little over £2,000 each. Students will spend the next 12 months studying for their A level exams whilst working hard to fundraise the money they need for their project.

As a Learning Manager in the local sixth form, I am responsible for organising and leading the annual overseas project to a developing country. This is a valuable and worthwhile project enabling students from the UK to volunteer with children in a developing country.
