Henry the puppy is six months old and has to have an operation to remove some bone in his leg, the vets say the cause is perthes disease. I cant afford the treatment so im trying to fundraise for my beautiful puppy boy. Hes in lots of pain as his bone that conects to his hip is rubbing against nerves and blood vessels. he has every chance of a full recovery if he has the op as soon as he can before the bone grows and causes more problems. I really woudnt be asking for your donations if i had any other way. Im very very emabarised that im in this awful situation and have no other option and can only cling on to hope that someone will help henrys suffering. Hes been through enough so far and i dont want him to be rehomed as he loves his life and dog friends here so much. His operation is a specialist orthopedic operation which is why it cost so much. There is only one other cheaper option with is leg amputation which really is unessersary as removing the ball joint will give him every sucsess of a full recovery. I have tried every charitie and they cant help due to the high cost and specialist treatment he needs. I couldhand him over to a charity but ive been told by them its very likely he will be put to sleep as he cost is too high for one dog. He is full of life and coping ok on his pain relief. I would want hi to keep his life and remain with us in his for ever loving home. Im trying everything i can to get help but there seems to be no help out there for him. We are praying that someone out there can help him. Hes a lovely playful chatty dog who adores everyone and all animals, hes been bought up with so much love that he cant wait to give the love back. I dont agree with dogs being put down because there arnt funds to help them. He has a bright futur ahead of him if only we can get help for him to have his op. Im broken hearted each day that goes by not knowing weather he will be with us or not. i am pleading for all to help henry , only the worst can be expected if he disnt have his operation soon. He is a pug x jack russle with the personality of both breeds. He hasnt had a walk in nearly two months as he has to be on strict rest most of the time, he hates it being in his crate and crys and barks all the time when hes in there. Hes in lots of pain and on pain meds every day.
