Weʼve raised £295 to support Lifting the Blues- Helping the Helpers
- Cheltenham, United Kingdom
- Funded on Thursday, 5th October 2017
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
I have signed up to run the Cheltenham Half Marathon on 1st October. It is my first ever proper race and I'm (sort of) looking forward to it. I have hit a bit of a rut in my training so I am starting this page hoping that a few donations will give me the motivation I need to get back on the case!
I want to raise as much money as I can for an amazing charity set up by an amazing man. It is called Lifting the Blues and it is all about destigmatising mental illness through music. They run music cafés where people with mental health issues or their carers can go and relax and talk about their condition in a stigma free zone. They also hold concerts which raise money for various mental health causes.

Training is not going well! Just keep running, just keep running. It's been a busy summer but hoping to get in some longer runs now the temperate is going to drop a bit I hope.
