Story
I'm fund-raising to pay for dental surgery after I was assaulted by my then boyfriend on 13 August 2017.
The incident was unprovoked and happened at a wedding reception in York. I was thumped in the face and knocked unconscious. The assailant continued to attack other guests until the police were called. He is currently on bail.
My jaw has been broken and two teeth are missing. The required surgery will take over a year and the estimated dental costs are £24000. This sort of treatment is not covered by the NHS.
All donations, no matter how small, are hugely appreciated.
