I have been one of the fortunate pupils to be chosen to travel to Malawi and help improve the educational environment for Dzenza School. My school, Gleniffer High school, has close links with Dzenza School and over the past few years we have already improved the conditions there. This expedition matters to me because I would like to continue the good work previous pupils have started by caring for the education and wellbeing of these children. Although there is separate fundraising for the structural parts of the building, as part of my personal development I have to fundraise to cover the costs of my own travelling expenses etc.
